June is Dog Licensing Month!!
CT State laws requires that all dogs six months or older be licensed. For further information, call the Town Clerk, at 203-758-4461, Monday through Friday, 8:30 s.m. to 4 p.m.
To obtain a license the following is required: Certificate of Rabies Vaccination; Certificate of neutering or spaying (unless already on file in the Town Clerk's office).
Check made payable to: Town Clerk of Prospect.
If you wish to pay by mail, please send the following: Self-addressed stamped envelope; fee & copy of dog license notice; updated rabies certificate; certificate of neutering or spaying (if applicable).
FEE:
$19 for not neutered male or not spayed female; $8 for neutered male or spayed female.
